ruby on rails - What's a smart way to implement a Maintenance page in a Heroku app? -

Is there a clean, elegant way to implement the Maintenance Page in a Hearoku app? So if something breaks you can easily switch a switch and the maintenance page goes ahead for all the requests? Preferably a method which is not needed?
