javascript - Getting file upload status without AJAX -

It seems that the information is already being output to the user by a browser, something to be accessible in the DOM Ways to Use Through Javascript When you upload a file using an old IFrame trick using a webkit browser (and possibly other), then the browser window displays an upload percentage in the status bar at the bottom. Instead of needing to ask the server for the same information, it would be astonishing to be able to tap into it. Has anyone ever tried to do this?

I have tried to do something like that. You can get upload information only when using the old method with iframe to upload a file if you have an API server side (for php) with javascript as much as you can know, equals start and interval Uploaded (using iframe onload event). You can use an animated GIF file when the file uploads start and delete the animated GIF after it expires (which causes the iLame event of the IFrame).

Then upload status to uploaded IFrame. After the upload finishes, you can do some more trick by returning the file information as JSON.
