I am trying to use the indicator service server for searching on DICOM files. I want to know that the index service Supports Dcm and .dicom file extensions. I had read about IIFFLATOR but no one was able to find DICOM files. Thanks!

I have never used Dicom to come to anybody using it, but I think it is very useful to write a filter and use it to index the DICOM tag. It will not be difficult.
