haskell - Why is GHC sometimes refusing to be lazy? -

It goes into an infinite loop at tryhaskell.org. I'm not sure.

  Past $ filter (& lt; 100) $ [2 ..]> gt; = = (\ A -> if 0 == (length $ filter) == 0) $ map (mod a) $ [2..a-1]) then (return one) other [])

It is not refusing to be lazy, there is no way to know that You take all the prime and lieutenants. 100, there is no one else.

What if looked like sequence

1, 2, ... 99, 100, 101, 102, 5, 103, ..

In other words, last can not predict the future Oh, how I want to.
