php - Is there an R equivalent of strtotime -

This is amazing work in PHP, which keeps any string with any date format and gives a time (since seconds) - 1970). For example, this is more futuristic than sriptime because if my script does not change in the date format then is there anything like R?

(In today's time, I do not need a time-sensitive attribute of Stratome, but I'm sure that at some point, I'll be able to call me strtotime ("next Thursday") , or < Code> Stratomain ("the first day of last month"), , so if you know that there is such an extension, I would love to hear about it!)
